Robert Stark has been engaged in social justice work in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean for the last 40 years.  He worked in Central American and the Caribbean in the 1980s and 1990s on peace and sustainable development. He served as the executive director of Policy Alternatives on Central American and the Caribbean--PACCA, a non-governmental multinational organization mobilizing academic resources for organizing wide support of recommendations regarding U.S. policy in relation to Central American and the Caribbean. He was also the executive director of the New Mexico Community Foundation-NMCF when their grants focused on community development mostly with immigrants and Native Americans. He is Catholic priest and long-time collaborator with CIP.
